This poster was part of a local social campaign that aimed to encourage women to take an active voice in local election in the town of Bieruń, Poland, scheduled for April 7, 2024. The slogan at the top reads, "Nic o nas bez nas!" ("Nothing about us without us!"), a phrase often used to emphasize active civic engagement.
The artwork features two women walking confidently towards a polling station. The background includes a stylized townscape with buildings and a church tower - important elements of Bierun’s architecture. Below, in smaller text, the poster calls on citizens to participate in shaping their community by voting in the municipal elections. The hashtag “#ŁączyNasBieruń” (“#BieruńUnitesUs”) is included, promoting unity and local pride.
The age of the women in this poster is a deliberate and impactful choice, designed to resonate with its target audience: the older generation of women in Bieruń. By featuring a younger and an older woman, the poster visually represents the concept of intergenerational unity and empowerment, encouraging women of all ages to participate in the upcoming local elections.
